The Story

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the WHO saw a in the prevalence of anxiety and depression worldwide. Millions of listeners already turn to a form of sonic self-care by listening to a “miracle tone”—the 528 Hz Solfeggio Frequency—to reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. So when MTV approached us about a mental health campaign, we aligned to apply the science of sound to the music of mental health. “Mental Health is Health” is an MTV Entertainment Group initiative rooted in the reality that we all have mental health and need to take care of it like we do our physical health. The Music of Mental Health is Health will air hourly on applicable Paramount+ channels after launching #MentalHealthAction Day.MTV Logo

Miracle Tone

528 Hz is known as the miracle frequency. It is a Solfeggio frequency widely used in meditation and relaxation, and it is the core tuning of the MHIH Soundscape, bookended by a 3-note audio logo (M-T-V) that bookends the experience.
